糸かけ師 黒蜜 | 高橋 保香
岩手県奥州市出身。芸術家。
2015年までWEB/グラフィックデザイナー・プログラマー・写真家などで活動し、様々な制作に携わる。
2016年に渡仏し、フランスの文化や芸術に触れながら語学と音楽（Vocal）を学ぶ。
2021年「糸かけ」に魅了され、糸かけデザイン研究所に入門。
研究所では数学的アプローチから様々な手法を学び、同年10月に「糸かけ師」と認定される。
５年のフランス生活の後、2022年に帰国し「糸かけ師 黒蜜」として活動を始める。
ストリングアートにデジタルアートやプログラミングなどのデジタル技術を融合させ、新しい表現を模索しながら作品を制作し、国内外の美術展やコンテストで作品を発表し、多くの賞を受賞している。
String Artist -Kuromitsu / Yasuka TAKAHASHI
Yasuka TAKAHASHI was born in Oshu, Iwate, Japan.
While working as a programmer, she taught herself web design in 1996. She later joined a design firm, where she acquired graphic design skills. Until 2015, she was also involved in various projects in Japan as a programmer, video creator, and photographer.
In 2016, she moved to France, where she worked as a graphic designer while immersing herself in culture and the arts, as well as studying languages and music. Later, she developed an interest in string art and joined the Japanese String Art Design Laboratory, where she learned various techniques online from a mathematical perspective.
She returned to Japan in 2022 and has been working with String Art and digital art, programming and other. She creates artworks by fusing String Art with digital technologies, such as digital art and programming, while exploring new ways of expression.
Her work has been exhibited in art exhibitions and competitions both in Japan and abord, earning numerous awards.
Artist statement
During my five years in France, I was deeply influenced by its breathtaking landscapes, art, music, and culture. Later, during the COVID-19 lockdowns, the memories formed in that confined and isolated period revealed that even in solitude and uncertainty, there was beauty and hope. These experiences have profoundly shaped my creative work since returning to Japan.
Furthermore, incorporating the newfound appreciation of Japanese aesthetics after my return has further expanded the scope of my artistic expression. Just as light inevitably finds its way into darkness, a single thread gathers and intertwines, crossing in intricate patterns to create beautiful forms. These forms symbolise hope and embody my personal memories and emotions.
I pursue a unique form of art that integrates the structural beauty of mathematical theory, digital technology, and the density of colour and pattern created by threads. By fusing these elements with graphic design, I strive to create works of elegance and refinement that only I can produce. My unwavering belief is to continue crafting art with dignity and sophistication.
